Multiplier

The Multiplier App automates calculations to predict mature height and bone length in children. This method originated at the University of Maryland in Baltimore and was further developed at the International Center for Limb Lengthening (ICLL) within the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore.

For over 19 years, the Multiplier Method has been a key component of the annual Baltimore Limb Deformity Course. Traditionally, these calculations are carried out manually using various formulas, some simple and others complex. By utilizing this app, users can streamline routine calculations, saving time and reducing errors. The app requires input of specific data (sex, age, length) to provide accurate results using the appropriate Multiplier formula.
